Our story begins in 1994 when Alexandra Storm and Dick Carleton founded what was to become the premier catering company of Summit County, Hearthstone Catering. Beginning out of a shared restaurant, Alexandra and Dick slowly and wisely grew into the current 5000 square foot facility. Through the years, many talented staff, event coordinators, managers and culinary professionals have joined the team together creating an incredible legacy of quality service, high standards, creative menus and even traditions you may have come to associate with Hearthstone Catering.
January 4, 2010 began a new chapter in our story when Alexandra and Dick made the decision to sell Hearthstone Catering and Harvest Catering was born. Under the new ownership of John Cooney, another successful local businessman, the name was changed to reflect a new direction yet carry on the incredible legacy and traditions of the past. Award-winning Executive Chef Bruce Carlton, Catering Manager Kevin Abernathy, Business Manager Anne Tighe and many wonderful full-time professional catering staff, all of whom played an intricate role in Hearthstone Catering's success, will continue the leadership of catering excellence in Summit County and beyond!
As our name suggests, Harvest Catering will be dedicated to leading the way to sustainable, organic and environmentally friendly practices in an industry not usually recognized for doing so. Our partnership with local Colorado farmers, growers and distributors will allow us to provide the freshest ingredients, high in nutrients, while supporting our local economy. We will partner with other businesses which share our same values and practices that will help leave our world a better place for generations to come.
